Our roots in inclusion

At Good Work Partners, diversity isn’t just a value we uphold – it’s the very heart of our mission. As a proud subsidiary of The Shaw Trust, our roots trace back to a noble cause initiated in 1982. Originally established as a charitable organisation, our purpose was clear: to challenge inequality by facilitating employment opportunities for members of the disabled community.

A Growing Commitment

Since then, our journey has been one of growth and evolution. Today, with a team of 3,000 dedicated employees and supported by 700 volunteers across the UK, Good Work Partners stands as a beacon of inclusivity and empowerment. While our focus has broadened, our commitment to championing the right to rewarding work remains unwavering.

Welcoming All

We believe in the transformative power of diversity. Our doors are open to all, regardless of background or circumstance. From ex-prisoners seeking a fresh start to individuals marginalised by society, we’re dedicated to helping everyone find their place in the workforce.

Echoing Ethical Values

Our affiliation with The Shaw Trust serves as a constant reminder of our origins and values. While we operate as a commercial enterprise, our ethos is deeply rooted in the belief that every individual has inherent social worth. We strive to emulate the Trust’s commitment to ethical practice in all aspects of our operations.

Celebrating Differences

At Good Work Partners, diversity isn’t just embraced – it’s celebrated. We recognise that it’s not enough to simply tolerate differences; we must actively seek out and embrace them. By fostering an environment of inclusion and respect, we create opportunities for growth, innovation, and success.
